To ensure every aquarium receives the highest standard of care, our rental packages are subject to the following terms:

Minimum Rental Period

All aquarium rental packages are supplied on a minimum 24-month agreement.

Installation Fee

A one-off installation fee applies to all aquarium rental packages. This covers delivery, installation, aquascaping, initial setup and commissioning of your aquarium. - Installation fees are as follows:

  • bronze, £249

  • Silver, £349

  • Gold, £499

Monthly Payments

Rental payments are due monthly by Direct Debit or standing order and include your scheduled maintenance visits.

Service area & Travel

The monthly rental price includes scheduled maintenance visits within our standard service area. where an installation is located outside of this area, an additional travel charge may apply .

What's Included

Your monthly rental includes:

  • Live plants and tropical fish - Fish losses through illness and natural causes are replaced

  • Monthly maintenance visit(s)

  • Water testing

  • Water changes

  • Filter servicing

  • Glass cleaning

  • Plant pruning

  • Fish food

  • Chemicals and treatments

  • Ongoing support and advice

Ownership

All aquariums, cabinets, equipment and accessories supplied as part of the rental package remain the property of Jobs a Fish throughout the agreement.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide reasonable access for scheduled maintenance visits.

  • Ensure a suitable electrical supply is available.

  • Not move, alter or modify the aquarium without prior agreement.

  • Report any problems as soon as reasonably possible.

Missed Appointments

If we are unable to gain access at an agreed appointment, we reserve the right to charge for additional visits where necessary.

Damage

Normal wear and tear is expected and covered. Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or neglect may result in repair or replacement charges.

Cancellation

Should you wish to end your agreement before the minimum rental period has expired, early termination charges may apply.

Emergency Call-outs

Telephone support is included with every package. Additional emergency visits outside of scheduled maintenance may be chargeable unless otherwise agreed.

Livestock Welfare

The health and welfare of the fish will always be our priority. We reserve the right to make stocking changes where necessary to maintain a healthy aquarium.

Price Changes

Monthly rental prices are fixed for the duration of your agreed contract unless otherwise stated within your agreement.
